Horacio Enriquez is a visionary supply chain and operations executive with over two decades of leadership experience spanning the life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. With a strong foundation in engineering and a strategic approach to operational excellence, Horacio has consistently delivered transformative results across complex global organizations.
Most recently, Horacio served as Director of Clinical Supplies and Supply Chain Management at Kezar Life Sciences, where he oversaw all aspects of clinical supply chain strategies for investigational products. Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions at Amgen/ChemoCentryx, Twist Bioscience, Allogene Therapeutics, SBM Management, and Bio-Rad Laboratories, consistently demonstrating expertise in end-to-end supply chain optimization, master data management, and strategic sourcing.
As a technology evangelist, Horacio has pioneered the development of supply chain analytics and master data management Centers of Excellence, implementing innovative solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. His process development work includes designing global supplier risk assessment programs and standardizing audit procedures that ensure compliance with stringent industry regulations including ISO 13485:2016 and MDSAP.
A recognized thought leader in the industry, Horacio has presented at global life sciences conferences on topics including supply chain analytics, Industry 4.0, and supplier risk management. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found the Biotech Supply Chain Academy and Mission City Consulting, organizations dedicated to advancing supply chain education and practices in healthcare.
Horacio holds two USPTO patents focused on supply chain digital twins and AI-based smart city analytics. He balances his corporate leadership with academic contributions as an adjunct lecturer at prestigious institutions including UC Davis, Santa Clara University, and Golden Gate University.
Horacio earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University, complemented by APICS certification in production and inventory management.
