Dr. Kunz (she/her) is an adjunct professor for Golden Gate University. She is a first-generation college student and holds a PhD in Educational Foundations and Research and an MA and BA (summa cum laude) in English Language and Literature from the University of North Dakota. Her dissertation was focused on ecological composition and writing program administration. She is the director and editor of the nonprofit community writing project, Voices of the Valley. She has published with a variety of conferences and journals such as Survive & Thrive: A Journal for Medical Humanities and Narrative as Medicine, Teaching and Learning for Social Justice and Equity in Higher Education, Minnesota English Journal Online, and Writing on the Edge in the Donald Murray Prize for Creative Nonfiction 2018 issue.
