Dr. Hassan Mirza brings a multi-faceted, leader focused, and multicultural teaching approach to Golden Gate University. Dr. Mirza has been a Professor for over twenty years, teaching core courses in Law, Management, and Organizational Leadership. Dr. Mirza has taught at a variety of universities across the U.S., such as California State University, The George Washington University, and Georgetown University, to name just a few. In addition to teaching, Hassan is a licensed Attorney in the state of California and a compassionate and dedicated leader who brings a wealth of real-world industry experience in the areas of Labor and Employment Law, Risk Management, Organizational Leadership, and Management Consulting, working for multi-billion-dollar organizations such as Amazon, Adobe, Medtronic, AbbVie, Blue Shield of California, and Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Mirza holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University; Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law; Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University; and a Doctorate in Public Policy from Northeastern University. Dr. Mirza is passionate about working with his students in a collaborative setting and advancing positive teaching and effective learning for all.
