Diane Yu is the Counselor to Leadership at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and the Executive Director of the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Community Programs, overseeing initiatives like the NYUAD Summer Academy and the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Program. Diane previously served as Deputy President of New York University and as General Counsel for the State Bar of California, where she won a case in the U.S. Supreme Court. A graduate of Oberlin College (B.A.) and UC Berkeley School of Law (J.D.), she sits on several boards including Oberlin College and the Association of Governing Boards. Diane has received numerous accolades, including an honorary doctorate from the City University of New York.
