Expository Writing

Introduces the comprehensive skills of expository writing and critical reading. Students will learn to analyze various types of reading material and will strengthen their writing skills in a variety of genres. These skills will support their academic work and prepare them to meet the reading and writing demands of professional activities. Prerequisite: Satisfactory score on the English Placement Exam or a grade of "C-" or better in ENGL 10B. Formerly: ENGL 1A.
