Professor of Law at Golden Gate University, School of Law. Professor Coco specializes in Consumer Bankruptcy Law and Business Reorganizations in Bankruptcy, Civil Procedure, Commercial law and Federal Courts. She received her J.D. from University of Maryland, School of Law in 2000 and her Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in Legal Anthropology in 2011. Professor Coco is a member of the California, Washington D.C. and Supreme Court Bar Associations. Prior to joining Golden Gate University, School of Law faculty she was a research professor at St. Johns University School of Law in the LLM program in Bankruptcy and Professor of Law at Barry University School of Law. During her tenure at Barry University, Professor Coco assisted in the creation and operation of the Bankruptcy Pro Se Clinic in the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, and she also created and directed the bankruptcy clinic.
