Associate professor Jennifer Elowsky is a partner at Wolkin Curran, LLP in San Francisco and focuses her practice primarily in the area of insurance coverage. Ms. Elowsky’s personal experience ranges from jury and bench trials to counseling and educating clients on risk management and best practices, and everything that comes between.
Ms. Elowsky received her JD from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1999, and was a member of the San Diego Law Review. She then returned to her home state of Michigan where she defended clients in a broad spectrum of cases with varying complexities including claims of discrimination, false imprisonment, and personal injury. Upon returning to California, Ms. Elowsky became involved in various coverage disputes and thereafter found herself specializing in the area of insurance coverage. Since doing so she has handled environmental, asbestos, construction, and bad faith claims along with a host of others, primarily in the context of commercial policies.
Ms. Elowsky is a member of DRI, the Bar Association of San Francisco, Queen’s Bench, and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.

Professional & Teaching Experience
Ms. Elowsky’s specialty during her twenty-three years of practice was insurance coverage and her experience included litigating cases through trial and appeal. She advised clients on complex coverage isses and risk assessment. Ms. Elowsky was a partner at Wolkin Curran LLP in San Francisco.
Ms. Elowsky previously taught Legal Writing & Research in an adjunct capacity at GGU; and also taught at UC Davis.
