Angela Melero is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of dedicated experience in Higher Education. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Management and a Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Management, both from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, Angela’s academic foundation has been instrumental in her illustrious career.

Angela’s journey in academia has been marked by a commitment to excellence and innovation. In her current role as Assistant Vice President of Technology Architecture and Chief Technology Architect at the University of the Pacific, Angela spearheads the CRM and Architecture teams. Her Leadership is pivotal in maintaining a forward-looking vision for the university’s technology landscape. Angela collaborated closely with various business units, driving initiatives such as CRM Advise enhancements and Data governance, aimed at advancing the Institution’s capabilities and establishing a robust data warehouse infrastructure.

Prior to her current position, Angela served as the Director of Information Technology Operations at Golden Gate University. In this capacity, she demonstrated exceptional skill in managing the day-to-day operations of the ITS division while playing a key role in shaping the university’s strategic plans in collaboration with the Chief Information Officer.

Angela’s expertise spans across diverse domains within Higher Education, including Information Technology, Admissions, Housing, Student Advising, and Customer Service. Her multifaceted contributions extend beyond her operational roles; Angela has also shared her knowledge and insights as an adjunct faculty member at Golden Gate University, where she has been teaching undergraduate courses since 2015.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Angela is actively involved in various professional associations, where she serves in official capacities. She has been an Adjunct Faculty Senator for Golden Gate University Faculty Senate since 2021, demonstrating her commitment to representing the interests of her colleagues. Previously, Angela held roles such as Secretary of the Golden Gate University Staff Council and Co-Chair of the Ellucian Live Colleague Student Track Team, showcasing her leadership and dedication to collaborative initiatives within the academic community.
