In this course students will learn the management functions of planning, organizing, and implementing disaster and emergency preparedness plans within healthcare organizations, including preparations for special needs populations. These occurrences arise from weather disasters, terrorist activities, chemical spills, and other natural and human events. Students will also learn to exercise appropriate coordination with other civil and military organizations.
