Taylor Siemen
President
Taylor Siemen brings a wealth of leadership and experience to the Student Veterans of America Chapter at Golden Gate University. A dedicated veteran, Taylor served in both the United States Marine Corps and the California Air National Guard, where he honed his skills in financial management, cost estimation, and operational leadership. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting Data & Analytics at GGU, Taylor is passionate about using data-driven insights to improve organizational efficiency. As the chapter’s founding president, Taylor is committed to building a strong and inclusive community for veteran students. His vision is to create a chapter that not only supports academic and professional growth but also fosters lasting connections among its members. With a focus on advocacy, collaboration, and opportunity, Taylor aims to lay a solid foundation for future student veteran leaders at GGU.

Amit Chandra
Vice President of Finance
Amit Chandra is a seasoned business operations leader with extensive expertise in financial management, project management, and strategic planning. His professional journey spans diverse roles, including account management, consulting, and leadership across military and civilian sectors. Amit’s military service in the U.S. Army as a linguist provided him with critical problem-solving and cross-cultural communication skills, which he has carried into his civilian career.Currently pursuing a Master’s in Leadership and Project Management at Golden Gate University, Amit brings a global perspective and a results-driven mindset to his role as Vice President of Finance for the SVA-GGU Chapter. He is passionate about applying his deep knowledge of budgeting, risk management, and analytics to ensure the chapter’s financial sustainability and growth.

Kai Henderson
Vice President of Communications and Marketing
Kai Henderson is a seasoned leader with over 15 years of experience in operations, business strategy, and organizational development. A U.S. Navy veteran and currently pursuing a Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at GGU, Kai combines military precision with strategic vision to enhance the SVA Chapter’s communications and marketing. As Vice President of Communication & Marketing, Kai is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that amplify the chapter’s visibility and engagement. From managing social media and email campaigns to creating promotional materials and fostering partnerships, Kai ensures that the chapter’s voice is heard both on campus and in the broader veteran community.

- Vice President of Programs and Member Development
- Responsibilities: All facets of chapter programming and ensuring all members have a clear path toward leadership positions, if desired. This role involves creating events and services that align with the chapter’s mission and appeal to members.
- Ideal Candidate: Someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Vice President of Fundraising
- Responsibilities: Managing all incoming and outgoing chapter funds and leading fundraising efforts. This role is crucial for securing the resources needed to support chapter initiatives.

- Vice President of Recruitment and Member Engagement
- Responsibilities: Recruiting new members and encouraging their active participation in chapter events, meetings, and initiatives. This role is essential for the chapter’s growth and success.
