Celeste Ayers is currently the Senior Manager – Operations Learning & Development for E.&J. Gallo Winery in Modesto, California. She is responsible for the training and development of professionals in the operations and supply chain management roles as well as creating career pathways for young adults in manufacturing. Prior to joining E.&J. Gallo Winery, Mrs. Ayers spent nearly two decades with Parker Hannifin Corporation in Modesto, California leading supply chain strategies and leading a team of supply development and trade compliance specialists to manage the challenges of a dynamic global supply chain.
As an entrepreneur and a believer in giving back to the community Mrs. Ayers is actively involved in local professional organizations such as ASCM and manufacturing counsels. She is currently serving as the President and a Master certification instructor for the ASCM Sierra Pacific Chapter supporting Northern California and Nevada.
Under her direct the chapter has received several awards from the ASCM Community for educational development and membership growth. Mrs. Ayers’ notable awards and achievements include multiple chapter “Instructor of Year” awards, “Mentor Award” from Ceres High School’s Manufacturing Academy, and “Adjunct Faculty of the Year” from Golden Gate University Ageno School of Business/Operations Management Department, and the SPIE Peter Johansen Service Award.
Mrs. Ayers’ educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management from California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, CA and an MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management from Golden Gate University. In addition to her formal education, she maintains two Fellowship level certifications through APICS in Certified in Production and Inventory Manager (CPIM) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
