Program Overview
The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) aims to equip students with technical, analytical, and business skills to bridge the gap between AI innovation and its practical application in varying industries, across diverse geographies.
This STEM program will focus on the use of AI in strategic decision-making, operations, ethics, and innovation within enterprises. It is uniquely positioned to cater to the growing demand for AI expertise in the global workforce, particularly in business and entrepreneurship where AI applications drive competitive advantage and better customer care.
Admission Requirements
- Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited US institution or the equivalent from a recognized foreign (outside the US) institution and provide official transcripts.
- Applicants whose native language is not English must meet the English Language Proficiency Admission Requirement.
- Applicants are required to submit a statement of purpose and a resume.
- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree GPA below 3.0 may also submit master’s degree transcript for consideration.
Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the program will demonstrate mastery of the following knowledge and skills:
- Develop advanced knowledge of AI technologies and their emerging, evolving, and disruptive applications in diverse business contexts.
- Analyze complex business situations and apply AI solutions to further organizational goals.
- Cultivate critical thinking, design thinking, predictive modeling, and decision-making skills to identify and provide innovative AI-driven solutions to complex business problems.
- Develop a deep understanding of the leadership, ethical implications, governance, and responsible practices in AI deployment, including mindfulness of bias and privacy.
- Understand the role and utility of predictive analytics and other related AI techniques to tackle real-world business challenges.
- Apply advanced research principles and methods to plan and execute AI-driven projects.
- Gain proficiency in selecting appropriate analytics and AI techniques for various industries, such as sales, marketing, finance, life sciences, healthcare, and public service.
Curriculum
The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence requires the completion of a total of 30 units of courses. The culmination of skills, knowledge, and concepts developed in this program will be demonstrated in the capstone courses. Students must earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better in courses completed at GGU.
