JP Mark, MS, MBA

JP Mark is an experienced finance professional specializing in equity research and investments. Drawing from his industry experience, JP brings practical insights to the classroom, preparing students for real-world financial decision-making.

In addition to his academic role, JP founded Farmhouse Equity Research, which specializes in collecting and analyzing channel data for institutional investors. He has also contributed to developing and publishing numerous books, articles, websites, and social media content for clients across various industries.

Before founding Farmhouse, JP served as Director of Research and Senior Managing Director at Wells Fargo Securities in San Francisco and held research roles at RBC Dain Rauscher, Montgomery Securities, and Robertson, Stephens & Company. A sought-after speaker, he has presented at CFA Society events across the U.S. and appeared on CNBC’s “Fast Money.” He began his career at Harvard Business School, where he wrote case studies for the MBA, AMP, and PMD programs.

JP holds BA and MS degrees from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Outside of his professional work, JP is passionate about mentoring students and aspiring financial professionals. He values continuous learning and strives to create a collaborative and engaging environment in his classes at Golden Gate University.
