Barbara Cully lives mostly in Tucson, Arizona where in addition to teaching online for GGU, has had a rich and varied career teaching writing and literature in the Department of English and Honors College at the University of Arizona. In addition, she has been a guest writer/instructor at the Prague Summer Writing Program and is a freelance editor of literary writing, business writing, and info-graphics.

Cully is co-editor of two writing textbooks, Writing as Revision and Entry Points (Pearson). She is the author of two poetry collections from Penguin Books: Desire Reclining and The New Intimacy, which won the National Poetry Series Award. She has published several additional poetry collections: Shoreline Series and That Place Where (Kore Press); Back Apart and Under the Hours (Jackleg Press); and A Place Where One (Green Linden Press).
