Advanced Federal Income Taxation

Examines the basics of federal income taxation with emphasis on statutory materials; special attention to problems of individual taxpayers and specific rules regarding gross income, adjusted gross income, taxable income, deductions, exemptions and credits. Students are required to take this course as one of the first two advanced graduate seminars in taxation. Corequisite(s): TA 329A or TA 329. Cross-listed with and equivalent to the following course.
