Dr. Chris Duquette is a distinguished psychotherapist, professor, and mental health educator. She is passionate about helping individuals recover, learn, and develop so that they can feel and function their best and contribute positively within their communities.

In her clinical practice, Dr. Duquette specializes in anxiety, complex trauma, brain health, habit formation, and therapy for gifted adults and helping professionals. In addition to a clinical practice, Dr. Duquette teaches and mentors future helping professionals and specializes in mentorship, program and curriculum development, and instructional design.

Dr. Duquette’s research focuses on the intersection of therapist mental health, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout, private practice, and access to psychological services, including the ramifications of COVID-19. Dr. Duquette is committed to advancing the field of psychology through her teaching, research, clinical practice, and advocacy. Her commitment to understanding human development, advancing evidence-based practice, and promoting mental health has made her a respected figure in both academic and professional circles.
