SAN FRANCISCO — Golden Gate University announced today the election of Benson Lu to its Board of Trustees, effective June 24, 2026.
“We are pleased to welcome Benson to our Board of Trustees,” said Brent White, President of Golden Gate University. “Benson brings deep expertise in global markets and emerging technology, which will strengthen GGU’s international reach and our programs’ alignment with the cutting-edge workforce needs.”
Lu is an entrepreneur and angel investor with more than 20 years of experience in private equity and venture capital. He is the Founder and CEO of Conduit Capital, a multi-family office focused on early-stage artificial intelligence and deep technology companies globally. He is also Co-Founder and President of Cloudview Capital, which manages $4 billion in private equity and debt investments across Asia. Earlier in his career, Lu served as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Asian Special Situations Group and previously held a role at Morgan Stanley Asian Investment Banking Group.
Lu holds an EMBA from Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance and a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley. He also serves on the Advisory Board of UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering M.E.T. program.
