Benson Lu is an entrepreneur, private equity fund manager, and angel investor with more than 20 years of investment banking and asset management experience in private equity and venture capital.

He is the Founder and CEO of Conduit Capital, a multi-family office that invests in early-stage deep technology companies and leading venture capital firms globally. He is also Co-Founder and President of Cloudview Capital, which manages $4 billion in private equity and debt investments across Asia, with a focus on the semiconductor, advanced materials, and renewable energy sectors.

Prior to establishing his own firms, Benson was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Asian Special Situations Group and previously worked at Morgan Stanley Asian Investment Banking Group.

Benson holds an EMBA from Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance and a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley. He also serves on the Advisory Board of UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering M.E.T. program.
