We serve as a hub for inclusive networking, professional growth, and practical engagement—helping students apply people-focused strategies in any organizational setting.

Our Vision

Our vision is to position SHRM Student Chapter at Golden Gate University as a collaborative, cross-disciplinary platform that supports students in becoming future-ready professionals. While rooted in Human Resources, our chapter welcomes all fields of study—offering experiences that promote ethical leadership, career readiness, and meaningful connections.

We aim to build a student-led ecosystem that encourages cross-functional collaboration, supports diverse career goals, and prepares graduates to thrive in today’s evolving workplace.

Mohd Farhan Ansari

A Word From Our Founder

Building the SHRM Chapter at Golden Gate University was never just about starting an organization, it was about creating a platform where ambition meets opportunity and students can turn potential into real-world impact.

From the beginning, the vision was to build a community where individuals from diverse backgrounds could learn, grow and prepare for the evolving world of human resources. By bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, this chapter has created space for hands-on experience, meaningful connections and leadership development.

What makes this journey truly special is the people. The founding team, our members and every supporter helped turn this vision into reality. Together, we have built more than a chapter, we have built a foundation for future leaders.

My belief has always been simple: we rise by lifting others. As SHRM@GGU continues to grow, I wish the current members all the best in carrying this legacy forward with purpose, passion and impact.
