Josh St. Laurent is a financial life planner, entrepreneur, and business strategist dedicated to helping first-generation wealth builders, real estate investors, and entrepreneurs achieve financial independence. He founded Wealth In Yourself, a boutique financial planning firm specializing in financial life planning, strategic tax efficiency, and business optimization through the Virtual Family Office (VFO) model.

Josh holds a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, and a Certified Financial Therapist™ (CFT™). He is also a candidate for the Enrolled Agent (EA) designation, further deepening his tax planning and optimization expertise.

With a background in real estate investing, tax strategy, and business growth, Josh specializes in helping professionals transition from W-2 employment to entrepreneurship while leveraging real estate and business ownership for long-term wealth accumulation. His advisory approach integrates financial therapy principles to address wealth-building’s technical and behavioral aspects.

Beyond his advisory work, Josh is an entrepreneur managing multiple ventures, including Tahoe Motorcycle Rentals and an expanding real estate portfolio. He is also actively pursuing his private pilot’s license.

Josh’s teaching style at Golden Gate University is direct, engaging, and practical, focusing on real-world financial planning applications, tax efficiency, and business structuring. He simplifies complex financial topics with humor and hands-on learning, ensuring students gain actionable insights to apply in their careers and businesses.

When he’s not teaching or advising, Josh enjoys spending time outdoors near his home in Lake Tahoe, exploring business opportunities, and preparing for the exciting adventure of fatherhood.
