Amir Kioumars, an expert in software engineering, electronics, networking, cybersecurity, and IT, brings over 20 years of experience as an educator and technology leader. He teaches MBA and Big Data courses at Golden Gate University and Computer Science at Columbia College, United States.

His expertise covers real-time data collection, systems automation, educational technology, cloud computing, data centers, networks, and Artificial Intelligence, with numerous research publications.

As an Executive Director of Technology, Amir has successfully led technology initiatives, driven digital transformation and delivering innovative solutions. He excels in guiding cross-functional teams, optimizing IT operations, and aligning technology strategies with institutional objectives, enhancing education through advanced tools and platforms.

His skillset includes leadership, strategic planning, change and budget management, vendor relations, project and risk management, and cybersecurity. Amir fosters continuous learning and innovation through team management and effective communication.

In his role, he identifies and implements optimal technological solutions, promotes operational efficiency, and advances institutional goals. He researches emerging technologies, nurtures IT talent, and inspires excellence in both his staff and students.
