Doctor of Artificial Intelligence Bridge and Assessment
4 Unit(s)
This bridge course is designed to support student success and assess readiness for advanced doctoral study in the Doctor of Artificial Intelligence program. It reviews and integrates advanced theoretical and practical knowledge across four core areas: AI Theory and Systems, Data Analytics and AI-Enabled Decision-Making, AI Strategy and Organizational Transformation, and Responsible AI and Governance. Through engaging lectures, guided reviews of scholarly and professional literature, case discussions, review sessions, and practice tests, students evaluate AI capabilities, analytical evidence, enterprise strategy, innovation, and responsible deployment. The course develops critical thinking and the ability to connect technical, organizational, and societal perspectives in complex industry scenarios. Students identify unanswered questions arising from AI practice without developing a full research design. Students must pass an individual comprehensive examination assessing their integrated knowledge and analytical capacity across the four core areas. This course-level comprehensive examination is distinct from the program’s Qualifying Exam.
