Personalized Advising, Start to Finish

All students are assigned an advisor.

Every GGU student works with an academic advisor who knows their goals and helps them build a plan to reach them. Advising is where a degree stops being a list of requirements and becomes a path that fits your life and your career.

Our advisors help you choose the right courses, understand your degree requirements, apply transfer credit, and stay on track from your first term through graduation. They also connect you with the wider set of resources that support student success, from tutoring and library services to career development. When your plans or circumstances change, your advisor is the person who helps you adjust without losing momentum.

Whether you are enrolled full time, taking a class or two in the evening after work, or studying online, advising meets you where you are. Many GGU students balance coursework with work and family responsibilities, and our advising is built around that reality rather than a traditional full-time schedule.

Advising is also one of the reasons GGU maintains strong graduation and retention rates. Steady guidance keeps students engaged and moving forward, one term at a time.
