Mark Yates is Professor of Law and Dean of the Law School. During his 20 years at the GGU School of Law, he has served as Director of Academic Support, Director of Bar Services, and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. Previously, he worked as a civil litigator and as a public defender.

Rachel Brockl, Visiting Associate Professor of Law

Professor Brockl joined the faculty as the Director of the Litigation Center and a Visiting Professor of Law after approximately six years of service as a Deputy District Attorney. During her time as a prosecutor, Professor Brockl conducted over 30 jury trials, including cases such as DUI, child molest, battery, theft, resisting arrest, and more.

Professor of Law

Professor of Law at Golden Gate University, School of Law. Professor Coco specializes in Consumer Bankruptcy Law and Business Reorganizations in Bankruptcy, Civil Procedure, Commercial law and Federal Courts. She received her J.D. from University of Maryland, School of Law in 2000 and her Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in Legal Anthropology in 2011.
