This is a variable-topic special topics course addressing significant, current, and advanced problems, theories, and applications in applied and agentic AI. The course covers current and emerging developments in AI research, industry, technology, policy, or professional practice that are not addressed by dedicated courses in the existing curriculum. Topics may include, but are not limited to, emerging technical paradigms, domain-specific AI applications, advanced methodological specializations, governance and regulatory developments, interdisciplinary AI investigations, or practice-oriented engagements relevant to the program’s applied and agentic AI focus.
