Kristin Conner is currently the Director of Career Coaching and Education at the Career Education office of Stanford University. Prior experiences include 6 years as Dean of Counseling and Special Services at Solano Community College, 2 years as the Director of Transfer and Career Services at Los Medanos Community College and almost 15 years as a Career Counselor/Assistant Director at Stanford University. For over 20 years Kristin has dedicated her career to helping students “figure out life” and leading programs focused on student success in higher education. Kristin loved college so she never left that environment.

Beginning her higher education journey as a community college student, Kristin earned an A.A. at Diablo Valley College, a B.A. in Psychology from Sonoma State University, an M.S. in Counseling with an emphasis in College and Career Counseling from San Francisco State University, and an Ed.D. in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco. Kristin is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Distance Certified Counselor (DCC) from National Board for Certified Counselors, as well as a certified CliftonStrengths Coach, Master Practitioner Certified for the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and Master Career Counselor Certified from the National Career Development Association.
