Media & Information Literacy

As the landscape of education shifts in response to emerging and developing technologies, particularly artificial intelligence technologies, the skills of media and information literacy have become foundationally critical skills-academically and professionally. In this course, students will develop the professionally transferable skills of recognizing, analyzing, and creating different media forms, including writing, oral communication, video- and image-based media, and new media such as artificial intelligence and social media. The class focuses on the skills of information literacy, communication, and media literacy.
