Swetha Chandraprakash
For Swetha Chandraprakash, coming to Golden Gate University wasn’t just about pursuing a degree — it was about fulfilling a lifelong dream.
After earning an MBA in Marketing and spending 14 years building a successful career in India, she felt that the time was right to invest in herself and pursue her childhood dream of studying and living in the United States.
As she began to research universities with strong project management programs, GGU quickly rose to the top of her list. When she discovered the scholarship opportunities available through GGU, everything fell into place.
“It was just so fulfilling at that moment to know that I’m actually going to get to do this. I’m finally going to get to go to the U.S. and pursue my master’s, which has been my dream since I was a child.”

#GGUGives Day is a 24-hour fundraising event. As part of the GGU community, your participation will allow us to create opportunities for current students by making a gift to The Fund for GGU.
In conjunction with the International Day of Giving, #GivingTuesday, #GGUGives Day will take place Tuesday, December 3, 2024. But we encourage supporters to give all month long!
Gifts are accepted all month long, however December 2 is your chance to make the most of your gift and show off your GGU pride. Every contribution will be matched by the GGU Board of Trustees up to a total of $50,000.
The Fund for Golden Gate University is the primary channel for unrestricted annual gifts to the university. It provides the flexibility to address the most urgent needs across every area of campus.
This campaign is for the Fund for GGU. Our goal is to build and sustain a base of supporters, ensuring a continuing source of annual, expendable, and unrestricted funding for GGU. The Fund for GGU provides the flexibility to address the most urgent needs across every area of campus.
