Campus Currents is the student newsletter. It is a four- to six-page newsletter published once a month. Our mission is to provide students with information and viewpoints from the student perspective about life at GGU. Four students are awarded scholarships to manage Campus Currents and a staff of volunteers helps with essential duties. A new team is selected each school year.

Letter from the Editor

It is the aim of the 2006 - 2007 Campus Currents staff to provide all GGU students, not only at the SF campus, but at all regional and virtual sites, the opportunity to have their voice heard.

You will find every issue of Campus Currents features faculty and alumni profiles, a health focus, important campus news relevant to student life, Club of the Month highlight, and helpful study tips. We hope in this way, Campus Currents becomes a valuable resource to Golden Gate University students, both local and long-distance.

If you would like to write for Campus Currents, please e-mail us at campuscurrents@gmail.com. We welcome student submissions, and are open to your ideas for a story.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we hope to continue improving the quality of this publication. Questions may be sent to the VP of Administration, Michele McEntee. If you have a letter to the Editor, you can e-mail campuscurrents@gmail.com.

I look forward to hearing from you! Have a great Spring Term!

Warm regards,

Vera DeVera
Editor-in-Chief, 2006 - 2007
